There's always a catch isn't there?
Yes… But it's well worth it...
So what's the catch to succeed as an entrepreneur?
Fail... Fail a lot
Whoa, say what?
That's right fail. The more you fail, the more you will succeed.
To be a successful entrepreneur you're going to have to learn how to deal with failure. There is no way around it. Just look at famous people who failed their way to success:
* Thomas Edison: He literally had failed tens of thousands times as he tried different experiments before finally getting the light bulb to work.
* Bill Gates: The richest entrepreneur to date had his first company, Traf-O-Data fail. That didn't stop him from making Microsoft.
* Michael Jordan: The greatest basketball player to have played the game was quoted saying: "I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times I've been trusted to take the game winning shot, and missed. I've failed over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."
As an entrepreneur myself I lost count on how many times I’ve failed. I have had my share of success, but it’s not even close to the number of times I failed. But it's okay. Because as soon as I stop failing, I stopped striving. And striving for success is the true nature of a successful entrepreneur and of success in general.
So, what now?
Go on and make mistakes. Fall on your face. Fail so many times. As you fail, you gain something. You can the knowledge on what to do and what not to do. And soon you'll discover what it takes to be a success. You got your guaranteed success right there. Fail. Fail until you're successful.
